Jerome comes on the show today to share his story of how he was physically abused as a child by his stepfather all while in the presence of his mother. He talks about how his parent’s decisions landed him in the foster care system and having to fend for himself at a very early age. Now that Jerome is a father himself he discusses what impacts his upbringing has had on the parent he currently is and the parent he will choose to be. We also discuss how he got through his situation and how he used art as a way of healing his emotional wounds.
